I really enjoyed taking those classes , every time I was learning something new . He was teaching TOEFL in very fun way, but still very serious. We practice TOEFL on computers, which helped a lot. We actually could record ourselves and we were given feedback, so we could identify our weaknesses and try to get better. The techniques and tricks I learned in this class were the key to the great score I got : 116 ! I followed Christopher’s teaching when I was studying by myself and was very prepared when I passed the test. I almost didn’t need to study outside of the class , because of all the great training I had.
I am from Spain and I wanted to go to college in the US, aiming for Columbia, and I needed at least 100 on the TOEFL. I looked at several schools to help me prepare for the test and finally picked Test Success NYC. I liked that they offer a free trial class and when I went, I really liked the dynamic of it. It was actually very oriented towards learning the techniques to pass the TOEFL, not an english class. The teachers are very nice and very attentive, very good professor and human being. They taught me well to get the score I needed and when I had questions career oriented they helped as well. I might change my initial plan of what I wanted to do, but the good thing is that I have my options open because I got a 102 in the TOEFL iBT on my first try.
